How long have you worked at City High?

I have been teaching at City High for 19 years, going on 20!

Share more with us about what your day-to-day role looks like!

I am one of the English teachers currently looping with Class of 2029. In addition to teaching, I also run video game club and host 4PLUS events during City High's 4PLUS Mondays. I also work with some of the young men of City High in our school mentoring group, Men With Purpose.

What initially drew you to City High?

I liked that City High was designed to be very different from a traditional public school.

What do you love most about working at City High?

The looping system. It gives us the opportunity to spend four years really getting to know our students and those relationships often turn into lifelong ones!

Best advice for City High students?

Pick and choose the battles you fight.  Some battles are just not worth fighting.
