City High Teacher Wins the Penguins Irish Heritage Jersey Design Contest
City High would like to extend their congratulations to Mr. Miller, one of the teaching associates in the Class of 2027!

Mr. Miller won the 2026 Irish Heritage Jersey design contest for the Pittsburgh Penguins. His design was inspired by his own exploration of his Irish heritage, of which he has started to get back into in the past decade or so.

Having been a lifelong artist, Miller shared that, "To be able to take my own art and my creations, and add them to the Pittsburgh Penguins and the hockey shirt is really special to me."

You can learn more about Mr. Miller's creative process by watching his video interview on the NHL website.
