Class of 2029 Students Meet with the Mayor's Office
September 24, 2026
10th graders in Information Literacy created proposals for youth development and mental health initiatives. This project was part of their News Literacy and Current Events unit. Several students were selected to present their ideas to Mayor O'Connor's office.
Students met with CJ Thorpe from Mayor O'Connor's Community Affairs team, where he was able to hear their ideas and talk through possible ways to put them into action.
