Avery Herrera Named State Champion in Microsoft Powerpoint
Avery Herrera (Class of 2026) was named State Champion for Pennsylvania in Microsoft PowerPoint. In addition to receiving the top place for PowerPoint, Herrera also scored second place in Microsoft Word and fifth place in Microsoft Excel.
According to the Microsoft Office Specialist Championship website, “To participate, you must be a student between the ages of 13 and 22, enrolled in an accredited academic institution, receive a passing score on a Microsoft Office Specialist certification exam, and submit your score to the World Championship."
Having scored in the Top 5 in three different categories during the Fall Qualifier, Herrera will have the opportunity to compete in the U.S. National Championship this June.
