As our seniors prepare to walk across the stage, we're reflecting on the lasting impact City High has on every student who comes through our doors. This week, we invite you to invest in that future. Every gift supports the programs, opportunities, and educators that make City High extraordinary.

How long have you worked at City High?

Almost 2 years!

Share more with us about what your day-to-day role looks like!

The best thing about my job is helping the students. Being in the secondary role rather than the main teacher gives me a chance to work one on one with each student when they need it. I have been teaching for 45 years and having two teachers in the classroom
fits the needs of the students better than the traditional single teacher. I may be the one that handles the hall passes or known as the rule-keeper, but I take pleasure in watching the students mature into their potential.

What initially drew you to City High?

The close proximity to where I live and that the teachers loop with the students.

What do you love most about working at City High?

The “Team Spirit” the teachers have, you don’t find that elsewhere.

Best advice for City High students?

I know there are a lot of rules at CIty High but those rules will help you be a successful adult!!
