At City High, innovation drives our mission to meet the evolving needs of students. Our 4-day school week prioritizes student success, fosters resilience, and offers a balanced, future-focused education.

In a recent segment of 4 The Record, WTAE host Michelle Wright interviewed Dr. Dara Ware Allen, CEO and principal of City Charter High School, to discuss the motivations behind this schedule change, its impact on students and staff, and the outcomes we've seen since its adoption. The segment highlights how City High is adapting its educational model to better serve our community and help students thrive both academically and personally.
