ARRIVAL/DISMISSAL

Doors will open at 6:45 pm and all students must arrive by 7:15 pm.  

If you are running behind for any reason, please be in contact with a friend or teacher who has already arrived. Students arriving after the doors have been closed will not be permitted in the dance nor will they receive a refund.   No students will be permitted to leave the dance before 10:30 pm. Please have all rides arranged for this time.  

• Students who plan to drive themselves to the dance will park in the Convention Center Parking lot located at 199 10th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.  The cost of parking should not exceed more than $13 for the evening.  

• Student Drop off: All students should be dropped off and enter through the East Lobby.  You will enter the building and ride the escalator to the 2nd floor.  Teachers will be there to direct you through the building and to the right location inside the building. Students will also exit through the East Lobby at the end of the night. 

TICKETS

The digital ticket will be emailed to them before prom. Digital tickets will be used at check-in. Please make sure the ticket is easily accessible on your phone or printed before arrival.   

ATTENDANCE  

ALL City High Students attending the prom must be in school on Thursday, May 22,2025 for the FULL day! 

DRESS CODE

Admission to the Prom will be denied for inappropriate or unapproved attire and you will not be given a refund. As a reminder, the dance floor will be outside, weather permitting.  We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket for later in the evening.  

SECURITY

All students and guests will be required to move through a metal detector as well as have their bags searched when entering the dance.  All students attending the dance will conduct themselves in a respectful manner that is expected of all City High students.  You must follow the directions of the adult chaperones.   

• Arguing, fighting, foul/vulgar language, and obscene dancing is not permitted.  
• Weapons, drugs, alcohol, vapes and tobacco products are strictly prohibited. Outside food & beverages are prohibited as well. 
• Violations of this contract will result in removal from the dance.
