City Charter High School Senior Prom "Under The Stars" will be from 7:00 pm - 10:30 pm at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, 1000 Ft. Duquesne Blvd. Pittsburgh, PA 15222, EAST lobby entrance. Doors open at 6:45pm.
Students must be in school ALL DAY Thursday May 14, 2026 to attend prom. You must be in school by 8:30am and you cannot leave school early. The attendance report will be pulled at the end of the day Thursday.
- Paperwork: Everyone needs to have a ticket and permission slip turned in. Tickets will be scanned at the door
- Dress Code: Everyone attending must have their outfit approved or they will not be admitted to the dance.
- Line up: There is no official City High line up. The line up CANNOT take place at the convention center.
Arriving at the Convention Center
Parking: Students who plan to drive themselves to the dance will park in the Convention Center Parking lot located at 199, 10th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. There are events going on downtown that night parking prices will be between $15-$20.
Student Drop off: All students should be dropped off and enter through the East Lobby. You will enter the building and ride the escalator to the 2nd floor. Teachers will be there to direct you through the building and to the right location inside the building.
You will check-in at the registration desk with the digital ticket that was emailed at checkout. Please make sure you can pull it up on your phone or print it out beforehand.
All students attending the dance will conduct themselves in a respectful manner that is expected of all City High students.
You must follow the directions of the adult chaperones.
- Arguing, fighting, foul/vulgar language, and obscene dancing is not permitted.
- Weapons, drugs, alcohol, and tobacco products are strictly prohibited. Outside food & beverages are prohibited as well.
- Violations of this contract will result in removal from the dance without refund.
- Admission to the Prom will be denied for inappropriate attire and you will not be given a refund.
- Students attending the Prom can enter the Convention Center at 6:45 PM. THERE WILL BE NO TICKET REFUNDS for anyone arriving after 7:15 PM. If you are going to be late CALL, EMAIL OR TEXT A STAFF MEMBER or FRIEND THAT ARRIVED.
