Future Ready

Distance Learning or In-person 4 days per week, you have a choice

Under the Guidance of Pennsylvania Department of Education, Pennsylvania Department of Health, Allegheny County Health Department.

City High's enhanced distance learning models were designed to be flexibile and provide the safest learning environments while keeping a consistent learning schedule for students and all of their classmates and techers as we carefully follow the “Level of Transmissions” in Allegheny County.

City High’s Full Livestream Ready model schedule is flexible and ready to phase back into and out of the GO Hybrid model if needed. Parents may choose Full Livestream Ready for their student's entire Trimester 3 if desired.

MODERATE & SUBSTANTIAL LEVEL Community Transmission

  • City High’s GO-Hybrid schedule is designed for a flexible transition to full virtual schedule if needed, which means that the in-person days will simply take place virtually.

  • Advisory & Lunch would be combined for an hour break on virtual days

  • School work will be completed within livestreamed classes which will minimize additional independent work.

Flexibly designed City High's GO-Hybrid model has now phased into to In-person 4 days per week for students who have chosen to not particpate virtually.

Students return to in-person classrooms four days per week with their livestream synchronized learning classmates.

Designed for a flexible transition from virtual to in-person, or back to full virtual if needed, students continue with their same schedule, classmates, and teachers as they look towards everyone returning to full in-person.

LOW LEVEL & MODERATE Community Transmission

4 - Full Day Model: Students come in-person four days per week Tuesday through Friday

Livestream Virtual Classes

In addition to City High’s technology emphasis, City High is all about keeping kids engaged… and learning. Our livestream, interactive classrooms will enhance teacher/student continuity, allowing us to keep students and teachers looped together all 4 years. It is key to our personalized approach to education, which helps them build connections to each other, even while physically apart.
