City Charter High School has openings for paraprofessionals for the 2010-11 school year. Paraprofessionals provide assistance to classroom teachers in preparing lesson plans and instructing students. The Paraprofessional evaluates and monitors student's performance and works closely with the grade level team. The position requires at least a bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. The applicant should be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within education. The applicant must have a deep desire to work with and help all students achieve at a high level of proficiency. Potential employees should have experience working with diverse groups of teenagers.
