Security

The safety of City High students, staff and families is paramount in providing for an effective educational environment. In order to provide for this safety the following procedures are in place:

• City High employs a two full time security guards, Mr. Delmer Daugherty  and Mr. Jamey Hamilton.

• All students and staff are provided with a photo identification scan card. Each person is required to scan in. This card provides attendance and identification information and must be carried at all times.

• A security guard is present 24/7 in the lobby of the New Clark Building. In addition, a security guard will be on the City High staff and present to assist with students and staff during school hours.

• Entrances to each floor of the school are monitored and recorded with video cameras.
